I traded city life for the California coast, where mornings usually start on a longboard before I pick up my camera. My work is inspired by the ocean, rooted in documentary photography, and shaped by a calm, thoughtful approach that helps people feel completely at ease.
There's an ease that surfaces when someone is doing what they love, in a place that makes them feel alive.
I love photographing people in their natural environments, alongside the people and things they care about most, then letting the candid moments come out on their own. I give gentle direction when it's needed, then step back and let real moments happen.
That sense of comfort isn't accidental. As a surgeon, I've spent years guiding people through moments when they feel vulnerable, and I've learned that the way you make someone feel is often what they remember most. I bring that same steady, thoughtful presence to every session.
